Call for Volunteers

Looking for a way to make a difference in the lives of Indigenous children with special needs, developmental disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder? Join the Four Directions Autism (FDA) team as a parent volunteer!

At FDA, we believe in the power of community and the importance of family involvement in improving the quality of life for Indigenous children. We are currently seeking parent volunteers to help us with a range of initiatives, including:

Community outreach: As a parent volunteer, you will have the opportunity to help us develop and implement community outreach initiatives that promote our services and support Indigenous families.

Research and data collection: You will also have the opportunity to assist us in conducting research and data collection on the needs and experiences of Indigenous families with children with special needs.

Event planning: We are also seeking parent volunteers to help us plan and execute events, such as workshops and information sessions, that provide education and resources to Indigenous families.

Advocacy and policy work: Finally, as a parent volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work with us on advocacy and policy work that aims to improve the services and supports available to Indigenous children with special needs.

At FDA, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for our parent volunteers. We value the unique experiences and perspectives that parents bring to our team, and we believe that together we can make a positive difference in the lives of Indigenous children.

If you are interested in becoming a parent volunteer at FDA, please contact us today to learn more about the opportunities available. We look forward to working with you!
