Four Directions Autism
Four Directions Autism is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Indigenous children with special needs, developmental disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our mission is to break down barriers and ensure Indigenous families have equal access to the supports and services they deserve.
For Parents and Caregivers
We support families in navigating complex systems with care and cultural understanding. Whether you're new to these programs or feeling overwhelmed, Four Directions Autism is here to walk alongside you.
You're not alone—our community is here to support you with compassion, lived knowledge, and understanding.
- We offer a free 30-minute session with a parent volunteer who has personal experience navigating the same systems and challenges. These volunteers provide guidance, share lived experience, and help point you in the right direction.
- We provide compassionate assistance with applications for Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) and Jordan’s Principle.
- We offer clear information and referrals to service providers and equipment vendors that offer direct billing options.
- We help connect families to culturally aware and appropriate supports tailored to their child’s unique needs.
You're not alone—our community is here to support you with compassion, lived knowledge, and understanding.
